It was revealed today that the next installment in the Star Wars saga will be Episode VII, the Force Awakens.
Now that the title is known that is surely going to lead to more plot speculation as Star Wars titles have always hinted at some major event or theme in each movie.
If you’re a stormtrooper you hit your head on a door. If you are Han Solo then a door hits you in the ankle. That’s what happened earlier today on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII.
I love the Millennium Falcon, I had the Kenner replica toy ship when I was young and I spent hours recreating scenes from Star Wars or conjure up my own adventures with the Falcon and my action figures. And one of the many cool things about the upcoming Episode VII is that we’ll be seeing the return of the almighty pirate ship making its triumphant return, the photo above and more on TMZ show that its construction is taking place along with what appears to be an X-Wing Fighter also.
Damn, I CANNOT WAIT for Episode VII!
When the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII was announced in April there was a little bit of controversy.
Disney CEO Bob Iger, when speaking on a quarterly investor’s call for Disney stockholders confirmed that the studio was working on 3 Star Wars spinoff films.
The news was reported by Ben Fritz of the Walstreet Journal.
Those films are in edition to the Sequel Trilogy of Episodes VII-IX.
I’ve really been inspired by the fact that today is Star Wars day. I’ve posted about Rebels and about an upcoming novel.
I plugged a podcast/book club and even worked The Iron Sheik Tweet of the Day into the equation.
There was even my original post which contained a few sales.
However, apparently, Star Wars is more than all of that. It turns out that there are also some movies. A few from the past and some that are coming in the future. Who would have guessed? So in the spirit of including all things Star Wars, I suppose a post about these under reported films is appropriate.
